It’s raining like, everywhere today, right? Then let Iron & Wine’s “Joy” take you away to a magical place. Although Sam Beam’s last couple of outings as Iron & Wine didn’t do too much for me, his latest, Ghost On Ghost is doing very very nice things to me, and I’ve been getting lost in “Joy” for the past week. There’s also a really awesome stop motion video to go along with it, and both are equally gorgeous. Fast Company has an article on how it all came together. Check out “Joy” below.
Goddamnit Lana. Why? Why did you have to give me another reason to not put you away for just a minute? From out of nowhere and for no reason at all, you put out this gorgeous cover of arguably one of the best Leonard Cohen songs out there, and then in the video sit there looking pretty and sad with your pretty and sad face, smoking on your marbs, singing pretty and sad.
If the rumors of you playing at Lollapalooza are true, please sing this. It’s pretty and sad and I’ll be fighting off heatstroke.

The star of my favorite episode of MTV Cribs ever has released a video to go along with the track “Andre” off of her December mixtape named after her dog, Agápē. No really.
“Andre” is a dedication to Andre 3000, and the video is supposed to make that clear. But I’m more like, “Whose loft is this? Did JoJo break in? Why is she wearing one of the painter dude’s shirts…kinda creep JoJo. Where’s your adderall and Redbull? Oh ok she’s taking some sort of shot at this ‘art’ party.”
After pulling out her extensions and straightening her hair, JoJo transformers her looq into something really “arty” before the art boy, who ends up not being that cute, reveals the painting. I laughed out loud – I’ll leave that surprise for y’all. Watch “Andre” below.

This video is EVERYTHING. Louboutins, burning swing sets, twerking, trailer park chicness, neon, Hollywood. Needless to say, Iggy Azalea, a 22-year-old Australian who is clearly a musical/twerk genius, certainly knows how to express herself in all the best ways possible. “Work” will be available for download on iTunes on March 19, so you best be ready to do some.

OK and then the swing? Didn’t Britney use that in her Femme Fatale tour while singing “Don’t Let Me Be The Last to Know”…… Murked.
